GWS v Sydney Swans ; A GF for GWS, Swans to pull away after half time.
Richmond v Carlton ; Always close , possible Richmond upset
Hawthorn v Collingwood ; Magpies have trouble with the Hawks so this will be close as well
Melbourne v Brisbane Lions ; Two strugglers, Lions on the improve but at the MCG
Gold Coast Suns v Adelaide ; Another close one. An idicator as to who's turned the corner.
Fremantle v Geelong ; Another close one, Fremantle at home looking good
North Melbourne v Essendon ; North tend to start season well, not clear cut IMO.
Western Bulldogs v West Coast Eagles ; WCE away from home will find it difficult.
Port Adelaide v St Kilda ; I just think PA will have a good start at home.
The first and last rounds of the season are always unpredictable.

We'll see on this one cooee, we'll see. I'll def be at the ground with bells on and think the broncs have reached their peek and will be stunnded mullets in front of a hard hitting parra team. Sandow to shoulder charge yowyee out of the match in the first half.cooee wrote:No that was Gillett. You know the guy that cut you guys to shred in Round 17 without our origin players.

Wow, attending your first NRL game in how many years? You're typical of the major, major problems the NRL faces. Just can't get so called fans like yourself interested enough to get out to the ground and support your so called clubs/code. Oh the shame of it all.King-Eliagh wrote:We'll see on this one cooee, we'll see. Hmm, I disagree. We know many NRL clubs already fudge attendance figures. TV ratings as we all know are flawed when you start talking regional ratings.NSWAFL wrote:The attendance figures and ratings figures that are accurate say otherwise, Dave!

Re: NRL Round 1 vs AFL Round 1
Even if they they mean nothing. One code has far more games, a longer season, targeted games, live games, and includes rep games.King-Eliagh wrote:No those figures are correct actually littlest AFL fan.
The networks know the value of each sport, and the true following nationally, and they have paid accordingly.

Sure...... Is that why their average went down in 2011?Raiderdave wrote:forget the pastBeaussie wrote:Wow, attending your first NRL game in how many years? Re: NRL Round 1 vs AFL Round 1
So your statement should have said "forget the past, hes indicitive of whats going on now ...... Sydneysiders saying .... yeah .. I don't wanna just watch it on the box, I wanna go & watch it live. But I can't be f'd so I'll stay home anyway. It's cheaper that way."Raiderdave wrote:Xman wrote:Sure...... Is that why their average went down in 2011?Raiderdave wrote:forget the past
