Disgusting fools.
Rugby League has a lying culture. Altering crowd figures, relying on inaccurate TV figures from regional NSW and refusing to distance itself from Leagues Clubs and obtain it's own club memberships as it relies on LC's to survive as private entities.

Surprise, surprise, another drunk and unlicensed NRL player involved in a hit and run with his stupid NRL mates. Truly a culture to despise.
POLICE have interviewed Penrith utility Yileen "Buddy" Gordon about a hit-and-run car accident involving two teammates that has placed his NRL career in jeopardy.

The Sunday Telegraph can reveal Gordon was driving unlicensed last Saturday morning and hit a parked vehicle on Lethbridge St in Penrith about 10.40am.

He had three passengers in the car, including promising Kiwi hooker Nafe Seluini and young prop Brendon Gibb, who owned the Holden Commodore. It is believed Gordon was driving them to a friend's house after they spent the previous evening drinking.

Police allege the Rabbitohs junior was driving "erratically" when the accident occurred and that all four fled the scene immediately.

The three passengers were tracked down nearby a short time later but Gordon did not present himself at Penrith police station until the following morning.

Now this is a true sign of NRL cowardice, fleeing the scene of the accident. And why did this player present himself the following day? Maybe so can sober up?

Precisely. The NRL doesn't see this as an issue for them and so do the clubs. That is their folly.

The NRL never admits to its problems. Sweep, sweep Coffs Harbour style is the NRL way.

I hear the NRL is going to be sponsored by Godfreys. That way there will be no need to sweep anything away as it will all be sucked up!

I'm not even sure if that will work.

So typical of RL admin. Deny and blame others. Fact remains the WARL is responsible for this putrid animal act.

Rugby League "a culture to despise".
Drunk fans 'may be to blame for rugby wee row'

Drunk corporate guests who had access to the change rooms at nib Stadium could be responsible for the urination incident which led to the carpets being ripped up, WA Rugby League chief executive John Sackson said today.

The carpet in the room used by the Illawarra Dragons was allegedly urinated on last Saturday and had to be replaced before a Super Rugby trial tonight between the Western Force and the Queensland Reds.

The WARL faces paying the $2000 bill as it hired the stadium, but Mr Sackson said it was impossible to pinpoint who was responsible, and said more than 100 people had been in the change rooms during the night.

One Force member described the smell to the West Australian as "putrid, rancid. Like 100 cats had been locked up in there all weekend".
