The NRL wins round 1 in Chiefs legal battle. In a result that surprised no one with more than half a brain a NZ judge turned down a NZR bid for an urgent injunction to prevent PNG from using the Chiefs moniker.
The very sensible judge said that average sports fans would have no trouble recognising the respective entities saying, "People who are interested in sport surely know the difference between Rugby and League." And in a slap down to the NZ Rugby folk further said " Are you saying people are going to buy the wrong ticket to a game or the wrong T-shirt?" Too-shay lolololololol!!!!!!!!
PVL wins again!!!!!!!!!!!
