Ten would be a good choice - they did a good job when they had the footy (AFL).
100%

they have shown they can do a great job>>

AFL and BBL were fantastic

My only worry is the Unreliable Paramount Streaming Service >> but if this was upgraded and fixed.

i think alot of people would be HAPPY!

the last time CH10 made a bid for NRL they were outbid by around 100million by channel 9 and FOX in 2015
who had first and last rights agreement.

Massive news coming out for the Tv rights fight out for the NRL

These are the leaked figures that have set-up the NRL for a record TV rights deal
The broadcast deal will be done in the next two to three months,” V’landys said.
Exclusive data obtained by this masthead shows a record 25 million viewers have watched the opening month of the 2026 premiership

five offers from the networks - Channel Nine, Channel Seven, Amazon, Paramount and DAZN-owned Fox Sports

ARLC could secure north of $4 billion over five years as V’landys lauded the latest figures which reaffirm his view that rugby league has emphatically dethroned the AFL as Australia’s most-watched sport.
The NRL recorded total viewership of 224 million across Australia and New Zealand last year and V’landys believes the code will smash the 300 million mark by 2028 when the competition expands to 19 teams

Incredibly, compared to the corresponding period of the 2019 season, Fox League’s viewership is up a staggering 86 per cent.

Since 2019, viewership in Australia and New Zealand has increased by a remarkable 90 million viewers, fuelling a push for a second NRL team across the ditch as part of a 20-team league.

be very interesting what they can squeeze out of FTA partner, with revenue and Advertising down year on year over the pass 3 years.
with the upside of BVOD getting bigger and popular for FREE ON DEMAND>

the streaming partner this is where the NRL will see a HUGE LIFT in $$$$

with NRL pretty much claiming every record on FTA and Streaming and BVOD over the pass 2 years.

NETWORKS ARE PLACING THERE BIDS> :thumbleft:

Stay Tuned.
