Fox Sports dumps free to air NRL Las Vegas coverage

Based on the awfully low tv ratings on Fox Sports free to air last season, this year the only way for potential US audiences to watch will be on pay tv Fox Sports 1 & 2 channels.



Apparently ticket sales well down on last season too.

yeah - I think such things have a natural life. But so far it has been an amazing success you would have to agree.

i do not find it bad that NRL has been relegated to FOX SPORTS 1 in the USA

they will privatize there local sports like the NBA for example over RL
just like we would in Australia

Last year was a one off which got almost 500k on FTA excluding streaming
with a NBA match on at the same time rating 1.2mill

in my books that is a good result.

now with it being on FS1 it will rate lower but will still be shown in PRIME TIME>

were not the official numbers released from the stadium greatly different from the NRLs numbers after the triple counting?

the stadium officials reported far less numbers thn the NRL claimed last year

last year was 4 games
ENGLISH SUPER LEAGUE
WOMENS AUS V ENG
and 2 x NRL Games.

there was something about Employee's being scanned in> but they found out the same thing happened at NFL Games.
so it was a who cares i do not know matter over a small difference give or take.
