easy run home for the SUNS>

there goal shall be a home final (5th)
They beat the Giants and it should be a top 4 finish - and guaranteed home final too.

Isn’t it funny the AFL expansion side feature several players selected from the local areas, throw in other AFL teams picking players from the expansion areas also!

It’s hilarious how the NRL can’t claim this

Yeah- there are plenty of players from NSW and QLD - always been some but has grown significantly past 20 years - with more born and breed players. Just look at Suns - they has a massive "go home" factor - so started bringing through locals through the academies - having done that they have many local players in their side. Now some vic clubs are whinging that they get these priority picks - for players they have developed and put the hard earned into. I will see if I can find the list of local QLD players at suns - and maybe AFL this year. Off top of head I could name.

1. Conner Buderik
2. Jed Walter
3. Bohdi Uwlund
4. Lachie Weller (?).
5. Ethan Reid
6. Will Graham
7. Jake Rogers
8. Leonardo Lombard
9. Sam Clohesy
10 Caleb Graham

Happymto be corrected- but that is a fair list of QLDers.
