Re: Suns - Is it finally the year?
Yeah- there are plenty of players from NSW and QLD - always been some but has grown significantly past 20 years - with more born and breed players. Just look at Suns - they has a massive "go home" factor - so started bringing through locals through the academies - having done that they have many local players in their side. Now some vic clubs are whinging that they get these priority picks - for players they have developed and put the hard earned into. I will see if I can find the list of local QLD players at suns - and maybe AFL this year. Off top of head I could name.makingnrlfansgowacko wrote: Tue Jul 29, 2025 3:17 pmIsn’t it funny the AFL expansion side feature several players selected from the local areas, throw in other AFL teams picking players from the expansion areas also!azif wrote: Tue Jul 29, 2025 3:03 pmoh dear god make this happen pleaseFred wrote: Tue Jul 29, 2025 2:47 pm
