NRL

skinnywhiteuncoball
210,795 for 6 games

the NRL should break its record crowd round total set last year of 212,725 & its looking to set a new ANZAC day round record next week too.

Some average crowds for the AFL this weekend - by AFL standards anyway. And a few good crowds by nrl standards - although most of the nrl good crowds would be seen as poor for AFL - it’s a step in the right direction for the nrl.

15,089 on the gold coast for the struggling titans today
very large contingent of Raiders fans .. like .. maybe half the crowd ? .. the titties decimated by injuries

24,428 in Newie for another home team , majorly on struggle street.

tomorrows game at Parramatta ( the Tigers fiercest rivals ) will be just the weirdest game ever
the eels will be the away team to the Tigers on their home ground , they have been openly accused of " illegally" already coming to terms with the Tigers young gun Lachie Galvin who rejected a huge contact upgrade from the Tigers ( 1.2 mill per season for 5 years ) that would have made him the highest paid teenager in the game , hes just 19.
The Tigers dropped Galvin to reserve grade ... their club & fans are bristling & emotion is high
should be one of the spiciest games of the year tomorrow

the poms are up & about , PVL including them in Vegas this year was... another .. master stroke by a marketing genius
more english people are watching their local comp then they ever have
& this will lead into the ashes in November & interest off the charts for that

the poms haven't won a game against the Australians in an ashes test on home soil since 1978... im tipping they will in this up coming series but lose 2-1 overall
but they will be happy to win one anyway
