Would you expect with FTA coverage up on last season by a good margin and BVOD lifting
would you think FOX to have lifted by the same margin if not more...

on both codes AFL and NRL

the **** has lost FTA viewers to STV no doubt , but whether its increased its total viewership its hard to say

The NRL has gained FTA viewers ... for no apparent reason other then it continues to grow every year in all coverages
so it has almost certainly gone up with STV too

Given the exodus to fox of AFL watchers to Fox this is quite significant.

How good is that 16% increase when the Saturday Games have become exclusives

for me them numbers do not look that good.

Example

You have lost FTA on Saturdays, and FOX gains exclusivity but the number is only 16% overall

Wow, Seven’s AFL was number one nationwide and the best result for the season. Another massive win again for the AFL over the NRL too.

That reach number for the AFL compared to the NRL is phenomenal.

1 SEVEN’S AFL: FRIDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL Seven 2,013,000 714,000 49,000

The Gather Round continued from Adelaide on Seven with an easy win for Collingwood over Sydney. With main channel coverage in Sydney, the average audience was 714k, up 130k from last week and the best Friday AFL result of the season.

Over on Nine, the Roosters victory over the Broncos averaged 600k, the same as the previous Friday

Good point Leeroy. You would think that with no FTA on Saturdays Fox should improve much much more than 16%. That number isn't going to cover the FTA ratings lost. This is going to effect overall ratings. Not a good sign for the fumbling game.
