Pies V Carlton
AFL's biggest rivalry tonight with Pies taking on the Blues. Should be a massive crowd you would think although with Carlton winless could this impact on crowd with many supporters dejected at how their side is going. For mine, I don't think the Blues are far off it - they seem to have it together for the first half but all seems to go out the window in the second? Fitness maybe? If so, this will slowly come together in the next few weeks - if not earlier - may be tonight. The Pies are going well however still not thinking are they are there yet - still a bit rough arounbd the edges - but it is early in the season - could be a danger game tonight I think for the Pies.

I’m really tired of watching Carlton in prime time tv slots. So predictable and boring with their 2nd half fade outs.
The massive tv ratings last night surprised me considering the result.

I think Carlton have the personnel and a game plan - it just seems the execution is lacking - may be fitness - game fitness? They have a large base that will tune in so. they get the good TV slots I guess.Beaussie wrote: Fri Apr 04, 2025 12:35 pmI’m really tired of watching Carlton in prime time tv slots. tonights game with Melbourne V Geelong - ground should be packed - great little ground down there now - but no way Melbourne deserve prime time Friday night........ Imagine the Adelaide V suns on tonight - that is clearly game of the round.
LeRoy - you going - being an Adelaide boy from way back?
