I have Kayo but find the 7plus stream more reliable without any buffering.

I have fix and no issues re: buffering .
Yeah I have heard of many footy fans also having issues with Kayo, but not Foxtel. Annoying to be paying for something so rubbish.

very average numbers for the all big Melbourne game last night ... all the willy fiddling .. oh its gunna be huge they said ....
633K on Ch 7 :-k
8-[
down by 25K on the corresponding game last year   :(/

The NRL had very solid numbers for a game many wouldn't have bothered watching as it was pre determined , the Roosters were no chance & would be flogged.
587K on Ch 9
up 30K on 2024

NRL wins the night by about 50K when STV is included

Yeah true and disappointing for the northern states fans to have delayed FTA coverage. It’s all about getting more fans to subscribe and switch to Fox/Kayo for Super Saturday.

2 SEVEN’S AFL: FRIDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL Seven 1,703,000 633,000 53,000

4 FRIDAY NIGHT NRL LIVE Nine 1,378,000 587,000 86,000

From TV Cynic at Media Spy:

https://forums.mediaspy.org/t/friday-14 ... 25/27255/3

It was a big Friday for FTA sport with Seven winning its second night of the week and with the network’s highest share in four weeks. The result was slightly higher than last week as Nine edged slightly lower. ABC lost +2 points that were picked up by 10 and SBS.

Friday AFL saw Hawthorn prevail over Essendon at the MCG with the game the number one sport averaging 633k, down slightly on the previous week. Earlier, Better Homes And Gardens had recovered from last week’s low to 413k. Also in Seven’s split schedule was The Green Mile that did well to get 154k.

NRL’s second Friday of 2025 saw The Roosters stun the Panthers in a high scoring game averaging 587k also down slightly week-on-week while David Attenborough’s Mammals was just under 200k, down 25k.

it will work, (fans will flock to FOX) be interesting to see what amount.

Binge and Digital Membership Kayo are being offered at such low rates this season.

( i guess some coverage is better than nothing on FTA)
Something the AFL was able to get over the NRL on FTA (Super Saturday component )

Ch 7 would be wondering why they're paying almost 50% more for the fumbles & misses then 9 is paying for the NRL
but only getting 10% more in the ratings every now & then :hmm:
& 9 has the ratings mega monster in the mens & womens origin ....

unco clowns in singlets is an under performing product for 7 & this cannot be denied
