NRL Las Vegas 2025
Less then a week out now , the hype is palpable atm & not just in Australia , but in the UK & NZ
Ticket sales are around the 50K mark atm & up to 60K could end up attending.
the TV ratings ... certainly for the Raiders V Warriors game will set a record for a club match combined in the 3 countries with it being shown on
Fox sports 1 in the USA with 500K expected to watch , its on prime time in the east coast. With Foxtel in Australia & Sky sports in NZ the total number will top 2 million for the game.
In the UK , The ESL game is the talk of the country ( certainly the North) Wigan V Warrington. 10K poms are making the trip over & will bring their certain english style of live support ..
Here is Roy Keane " get me involved " , Irish Man U legend & mad RL fan talking about after the EPL game on the weekend with some other EPL commentators who are also very excited about the event. The viewership in the UK for this game will set records that will stand for a very long time.
in NZ , over 5K kiwis are en route to Vegas & the numbers that will be tuning in back home at 1pm their time will be unprecedented.
All of this in addition to aussie NRL fans who, if they aren't off on a bucket list trip of a lifetime ( 20K are going ) they will be tuning in to watch a must see event, with the NRL releasing teasers about who will be going next year , with Melbourne , the Dragons .. Bulldogs & Parramatta rumored & the anticipation for 2026 already started.
The NRL is showing everyone how its done , how you get attention & create hype.
The codes marketing team are the best in Australian sport & one of the best in the world , & they have taken PVL's vision & elevated the sports profile to new levels.

Re: NRL Las Vegas 2025
The pissyness is lowly bubbling to the surface as it was always going to as the nations most watched sport makes everyone else look like a 2nd rate shit show
which they are ofc compared to the NRL , as Vegas 2025 draws near
the nashing of teeth
stamping of feet & general hissy fits from skinnywhitedorkball fans will increase to a crescendo by Sunday.
enjoy the show

Re: NRL Las Vegas 2025
As PVL has said in this last week
Is anyone in NSW, the ACT or QLD talking about anything other then the NRL in vegas atm ?
mongballs opening round ?
stupor wugby ?
Oi League ?
anything at all ?
nope
the NRL like last year has sucked the air out of the room , is hogging every headline ... getting all the attention
the guy is a genius

Re: NRL Las Vegas 2025
I enjoyed the match last year - will switch on if home this year. I thought it was really well done and quite enjoyed the game and there was atmosphere that seemed to pulsate through the TV I felt - something I do not usually get at a rl game - so a job well done.
Not getting the hype as much this year but that is probably more a me thing as try not to watch too much news - I did hear about a fight over beds and something about sprinkler heads being dogged during training or something like that. For those who are getting the media and reading/watching stories - I wonder if there is much mention of the AFL and comparing to AFL - I am tempted to do a search of news articles and if I did I can almost guarantee there will be something on the Las Vegas game commenting on the AFL. Let me know if there is.
anyway - when is it on TV in Australia?

Foxtel doing all 4 games from 8.30am
Ch 9, the last 2 from 1.30pm
shouldn't be concerned about fumblers & their thoughts on Vegas , we know it'll be pissy & salty like it was last year ....
what you should be concerned about fwed is the effect the hype for Vegas is having up this way
with literally not a word about the impending pathetic attempt at a home invasion by fumblers of NSW & QLD in less then 2 weeks
barely anyone is interested

like last year , the home invasion of the north will garner fumbleball .... no new fans

Re: NRL Las Vegas 2025
So apparently
the cost to hire Allegiant Stadium is
620K USD
or just under a mill AUD
Las Vegas tourism pays the NRL to hold the event
620K USD or a mill AUD
so the Stadium is essentially
free
