I just looked at the Courier Mail. The front page & back page is all the LIons with another 6 pages dedicated to the GF & the rest about the Brownlow. Rugby league prelims got only 2 pages.

If anyone lives in Sydney can you let me know how many more pages the swans got than the Rugby games this weekend?

You've been told this before petey , both codes have contra in their media rights deals that contract news ltd , to print a certain amount of stories about their sport in their newspapers in every capital city.
The Storm being on the back page of the Herald Sun a few weeks ago is an example as well

it literally means nothing

Anyway I am very excited that for 1 week & probably 1 week only the AFL will be the talk of Brisbane town. It doesn't happen often.

SMH had no fumbling on the front page. The back page was 4/5 RL with a tiny story about fumbling. The DT had nothing on the front or back page about the fumbling. There was a little story 7 pages in from the back just before the racing tips and garbage bin collection times. So yeah, virtually invisible.

You're Courrier Mail comment is typically full of lies and distortions Petey boy. The front page has a picture of a Loons poster. However the lead story is laughably headed "Dicks blowout". So it seems Dicks blowout trumps the Loons in front page news in Bris Vegas.

The back page has another picture of a couple of Loons players. It also has two stories about the NRL and NRLW finals. The inside pages do not have 6 pages of fumbling. Lies again Petey. It has two pages on the Loons and 2 on the Brownduck medal.

So there ya go pal. You have exposed yaself again. Why the need to lie pal???? Its so easy to catch you out.

There is also 2 more pages of footy on pages 9-10. Also Robert Craddock wrote a great piece about how strong & inspirational the lions have been this year, comparing them to the mighty Cowboys Rugby premiership in 2015 vs the Broncos.
Underdogs can win he is stating.

I wonder how many Sydney Roosters supporters will head to Melbourne for the Prelim final. I just booked my tickets now for the Lions Swans game & the costs for airlines & hotel rooms are off the charts. What a rip-off
