Post by azif »

wow
just wow

after 6 finals in 2023
the singlets & noodle arms had attendances of 431,079

in 2024, & even with a heavily fudged crowd last night at the Showground
the 6 finals so far have had 297,398 through the gate
sheesh

so much for attendance records eh

This post is right up there with the idiotic shit i expect from rabid haters like you.

Of 6 finals last year in Week 1 and 2, 4 matches were played at the MCG. This year its been 1.
The Adelaide Oval Crowd in Week 2 was better than last year, the Gabba crowd in Week 1 was on par with last year (down 400).

Take Collingwood, Carlton, Melbourne and the MCG out of the equation....and this isnt rocket science. Even for you.

Azia - I mean with all due respect - but you are the king of the “but but”.

But they are all expat

But they are the ra ra Chardonnay crowd

But Murdoch press

But it was raining

But it was a fudged crowd number

But many tickets where given away

I know your response will be “that is all true”. But it is hard to have a reasoned debate or discussion when you discount e all that is reported positive about nrl- it’s like you’re the Donald Trump of the “nrl is best” crowd.

Donald - it’s all fake news - I won in 2020 it was rigged… I won the debate against Kamala - In his head he never loses and if he does it was rigged - like you with AFL - superior crowd sizes in Sydney and qld - all expats - ra ras… fake numbers - nrl really won lol. Like trump - if you continue being so irrational and not accepting truth or facts - then people will start not taking you seriously- which would be a shame - I think you have much more to offer and hence I try to be fair or not buy in where I see your irrationality - out of respect - so I would appeal for you to be a little more open.

I know this will likely get the response I hoped and no ill will I hope comes from it - but I say this with good intent.

Wasnt it aroind 19000 at the giants Brisbane game not 12000? Or are these azifs official figures like stv ratings? I didn’t see the game (in Bali) but listened to the end. Crowd didn’t seem great even on the radio and did hear the Brisbane chant go up - which I thought how good are their supporters to travel- real die hard. But yeah - 18 something thousand I read ? Anyone have the official figure and not the “but but” figure?

18,357 official :-k     :(/ :(/ :(/ :(/
actual crowd 12,652
anyone thinking there were 18K odd at the showground , their eyes are ornamental only .. just decorative     :(/ :(/
the fudging was in over drive
The crowd of about 12K odd was about half . half between the 2 clubs & that in itself was as embarrassing as it gets ... with no other live sport in Sydney on a lovely mild night & 37K members ...supposedly 8-[ ..    :(/ :(/ :(/ yea right The Grants got their fans there for a final .......... in numbers that wouldn't have filled Redfern oval

Like I said
should have sold out , no excuses .. their ground is tiny
The results for them in these finals will only continue their struggle for support next year & many years to come
