I still like Sydney NRL teams having Home Ground Advantage i think it is a great think and very tribal.
Just the stadiums fitting 15k to 20k MAX is just too small.
30k would be a good number for say

This notion of true home grounds for the Sydney clubs is both a good & bad thing ... good is the strong sense of community it develops

afl clubs in melb don't have home grounds imo.. they all share the same venues & when playing a " home " game against another melb club ... apart from a few more members there for the designated home team .. there is no further advantage

not so in the NRL in Sydney ... genuine home grounds ... in the suburbs where the club originated full of fans of the home club .. but , they're small & have limited facilities & heaven help everyone if it rains , people simply won't go
these venues are holding the code back & need to be used more sparingly into the future & disasters like this weekend where more then 20K people who would have attended the dragons v bulldogs game .. can't .. simply because the game is at the wrong venue
