I went to a storm game at marvel last year, it was very sparse, i was surprised 5 fold when the attendance was listed at 26,000+.

I'd suggest you look harder next time
both ends probs 80% full
the front sections of both sides stands quite full too , only about 10 rows at the back empty on both sides ... AAMI holds 30K .... so 20K was right on the money

thats 3.. 20K plus crowds for them to start the season & probably the next 2 will be 20K plus as well, certainly ANZAC day will be.
