Yes indeed, unlike those unAustralian merkins of the NRL. And only 31,000 attended their preliminary final between Manly and Brisbane :_<> How pathetic and so much for that wanker Lockyer hype :(/

David Gallop says the AFL is "truly national"

Post by Beaussie »

Even the NRL CEO says the AFL is truly national and puts to rest the debate about which codes rates better on TV. Way to go Gallop.

"Whether that's on par with the AFL will obviously be one of the things we will be measured against. But they are truly national, so they have five capital cities rating that are always going to be better than ours. Their game goes for longer."

As the NRL CEO points out, the flawed regionals don't count when it comes to which code is "truly national" and rates better on tv and in turn gets the biggest tv rights deals.

Everyone counted??? Stop talking rubbish. We all know the AFL states aren't included in this ridiculous flawed analysis. Stick your rubbish flawed analysis where the sun don't shine.
