First year, expected crowds, and they are doing better than expected.
As I have stated before…give it 3 years.
There are lies, damn lies and then there are ratings.
Rugby league, Australias most popular game in some of North Eastern Australia.

The whole Dolphin thing is a lot of contrived bs hype that will deflate after a short time.
Those early crowd figure are already in sharp decline.

Dolphins vs Titans 18000.
Shocking crowd figure for a local derby.

Dolphins Parramatta 8000
Their certainly on the nose in Sydney.

Most people around Australia couldn't care less about a second Brisbane team funded by pathetic gambling addicts.

The Brisbane Lions are here to stay for the long term

The fish phin fingers could be a flash in the pan.
I didn't want a crap name anymore !

you stupid fumbling wanker

will the Thuns & 3rd placed paddle pop wions get over 18K in their game today on the GC ?
will they get more then the Tits & Cowboys tomorrow , with one lot of fans based 1500kms away & no team from Brisb ?

will
more people in Brisb watch the paddle pop wions on TV , then the Elvis Presley movie from the 1960's this afternoon ?

I'd say
no

no

&.. no

    :(/ :(/ :(/ :(/

the Dolphins 2024 will be a finals contender , hell maybe even top 4
they have recruited well

the Titans have Des Hasler coming & he will get them firing
The Cowboys & Broncos will be finalists with the latter headed for the 2023 GF

4 QLD teams in the NRL finals in 2024 ?

bye bye drops & giggles
pack up your things & f.u^ck off back to Vicderpia where ya belong
the War is over

I'm just trying to keep the debate going., fighting words and derogatory team nicknames aside we need to put some clarity and balance on the issue.
The truth lies somewhere in the middle , Rugby League is doing very very well but Australian rules has much improved in Queensland and is a worthy second place contender
With so much future potential, footy afl style is here to stay. !
I didn't want a crap name anymore !

And I have no doubt the giggles & misses will hang around in QLD
like a bad smell
about as popular as getting into a lift after someone has farted after eating a dodgy curry      :(/ :(/ :(/

the Broncos back at a decent venue, their spiritual home for their final home game in rnd 27 against the Storm at Suncorp stadium
shame its a Thursday night , would have attracted 50K plus

its still tracking for 45K
a record for a Thursday night

wow
