So which Grand Final won the ratings? I would suspect being in prime time Sunday night NRL would have won big time?

primetime all ya want, if a team is up 28 to 0 with 5mins to go.
what do you recan the result is going to be..
the equivalent would be Geelong up 100 to 0
with 5mins to go.
do the math

primetime or no primetime..
there were Seasons 2008 to 2012 where games kicked off at 5pm, and still rated the equivalent to a night time GF

Not a bad win given the different time slots. Although, I missed the first part of first quarter in the nrl due to daylight savings changing that day !!?

Re: Fight Club - Football TV Ratings (AFL vs NRL)
I think for the GF the times played impact the ratings - I'd expect the NRL being played in prime time helps the rating naturally. Hence why it is called prime time. My bummer was the change with DLS - missing the start.
Did the AFL also win the finals in ratings? Amazing what having games in isolation does to the ratings. Was a cracker of a final's series though for the AFL - shame about the Grand Final but rightful team won.

Thanks for that bummy. Great work Pal.
I see the total viewing hours had the AFL 92 hours more than the NRL. That equates to 46 more games of RL or 31 games of AFL. I would suggest that has a rather large say on the respective broadcast deals. I mean you can wack a fair bit of advertising into 46 games of RL. Plain commonsense!!!!
