Ah, here they are ...........tweedle dumb .............and tweedle dumber lololololol!!!!!

I'd hold ya fire dumb and dumber. The devil will be in the detail. And that will take a few days to come out. It's already been revealed a massive $500M, or more, of the deal is in contra. And it goes to 2031 whilst the increase doesn't kick in till 2025. That's a massive punt on a 9 year partnership. Anything could happen in that time.

And of course the elephant in the room is good 'ol gilty. He tells lies so often and so easily no one would have a clue what the real deal is.

But by all means run around like 2 year olds skolling red cordial ya dills lolololololol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
lol hanging your hat on a single News Limited report that says its 3.85b - and published before the announcement was made, where Mclachlan told reporters that the cash component was north of 4 billion.

Its also a 7 year partnership, theres an additional 2 years of the deal for 2023 and 2024 that are completely separate - a deal which was already for more money than the NRl are getting from next year I might add.

And if any of you could take the time to read or listen properly, I wouldnt have to repeat this shit everywhere.

I mean you idiots were jumping all over any article that favoured you guys. Today you were all exposed as morons.

You seem to be a little obsessed with me bummy. See a doctor. I suggest a pediatrician. They would understand your intellect better than most lolololol!!!

my take..

Overall great result for the AFL >

i am pretty sure this will lock in a Tasmanian team for entry and fee is included in TV DEAL for 19 teams

the Paywall for saturday's is not as a bad as media first thought.

rounds 1 - 8 Saturday

12 games northern states and 12 games in southern states of SA and WA on FOX and delayed on ch7

24 games in total on delay

be interesting to see how much subs this can get fox..

Contra amount wasnt specified. Cash amount was stated as "north of 4b". The AFL does however publish contra details in its reports, so we'll probably find out.

Mclachlan said at the presser that a Tassie team was irrelevant to the deal.

I’ve always wondered what the true value in contra actually is. I’ve seen for instance, in years gone, AFL ads for games in Sydney, shown on Channel 7 and 7mate after the actual game has already been played. Surely the AFL wouldn’t be purchasing advertising slots themselves for game promotion after the event.

How do the codes track and measure the contra?

Would be great if it meant more AFL exposure in the nightly sports news bulletins as a starting point in Sydney and Brisbane.
