The Suns were playing and they won beating Box Hill Hawks. Wasn’t too bad a game. They mentioned that for the first time all three Queensland teams are in the finals. Not a bad effort at all and I believe shows the strength of Aussie Rules in South East Queensland, and with some good players coming from North Queensland it says even more as to the spread of the game with so many playing at elite level. For mine, Southport Sharks are the real indicator as Brisbane and Gold Coast have many AFL listed players playing in the twos. Where’s the Southport Sharks hsve no such luxuary. Will be an interesting watch over the next few weeks.
