Carn Swans

Fred wrote: Tue Aug 09, 2022 3:53 pmIt will be the talk of the town no doubt. Be interesting to see the ratings for Sydney - pity they don't give city rating for Foxtel.
Reality check - many fans of the Swans are ex thugby fans who got shitty with the game because of the Super League war - just when the Swans made their first grand final in 51 years. Sydneysiders abandoning RL for Footy. That's what happened, sunshine.truthbomber wrote: Tue Aug 09, 2022 6:01 pmFred wrote: Tue Aug 09, 2022 3:53 pmIt will be the talk of the town no doubt. SCG members area doesn't hold 10,000 and with Collingwood playing - I'm calling it. 45,000 minimum.
Hardly comparable when 1997 was post 1996 GF appearance for Swans and this season there is still Covid hesitation and Sydney’s terrible wet weather affecting crowds.truthbomber wrote: Wed Aug 10, 2022 6:53 amreality checkTLPG wrote: Wed Aug 10, 2022 12:49 amReality check - many fans of the Swans are ex thugby fans who got shitty with the game because of the Super League war - just when the Swans made their first grand final in 51 years. covid is not an excuse , the NRL is back to 2019 pre covid crowd levels
& how many swines games have been affected by wet weather in 2022 ... 2 ?

Highly appropriate user name methinks.
Now tell us - how many Sydney NRL clubs can boast 27,000 paid up members?
