Re: Fight Club - Football TV Ratings
Gees the RL State of Origin novelty does not translate to increased interest in the NRL in Melbourne or Adelaide and Perth.
Last night the Storm were live on Channel 9 in Melbourne and totally smashed in the ratings with just 37,000 viewers. RL back on GEM in Adelaide and Perth.
Brisbane much closer with live NRL on Channel 9 and AFL on 7mate.
SEVEN'S AFL: THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL Seven. 390,000 12,000 223,000 48,000 65,000 41,000
THURSDAY NIGHT NRL LIVE Nine 307,000 173,000
37,000 85,000 4,000 8,000

at least we get ratings of note at some point during the season dickhead
your bumbling abortion of a game has been in Sydney for 40 years , growing every year , or so says the fumbletard dept of propaganda
& all it could muster on TV last night was
12K

12K out of 5.5 million ..

still irrelevant
always was

I do get that that figure is only FTA and with the high uptake of Fox that”s where the main audience is, but still, 1200o, that’s like 4 people with a people metre watching.

Yes that is very poor and disappointing.
There are lies, damn lies and then there are ratings.

Re: Fight Club - Football TV Ratings
GWS or Swans games can have some reasonable figures.
21000 pass for GWS
Non Sydney based clubs can only generate average numbers at best.
12000 dreadful figures, even hard to believe in Australia's toughest sporting market.
Maybe Origin on Sunday has left a viewer sporting fatigue effect.

Re: Fight Club - Football TV Ratings
Four premierships and several more grand final appearances and yet just 37,000 viewers in a city of 5,151,000 million people in prime time on Channel 9 for the Melbourne Storm. And you reckon the Giants have issues ehtruthbomber wrote: Fri Jul 01, 2022 4:47 pmBeaussie wrote: Fri Jul 01, 2022 2:47 pmGees the RL State of Origin novelty does not translate to increased interest in the NRL in Melbourne or Adelaide and Perth.
