Re: Fight Club - Football Crowds
I had a bet a few years back with aflcrap I think as to who would pull the biggest home crowd (at their home grounds) and Suns (I) won. It’s usually pretty close though one way or another. I suspect with some big games coming up, finals on play for both suns and the teams they are playing, than I’m guessing it will be close again this year. If crowds were an indication of popularity you’d have to say Rl and Aussie rules are 50 50 on the Gold Coast. They’re not, not by a long way, showing one measure on its own, crowds in this case, aren’t always reflective of popularity.

After last nights home game Titans real home average is 11,842.
There are lies, damn lies and then there are ratings.

Yes, if we are to use the NT argument of crowds equalling popularity - Aussie Rules is around equal with the NRL on the Gold Coast lol.

the same criteriaQuolls2019 wrote: Fri Jun 03, 2022 8:13 amThat titans average attendance figure includes the Lang Park magic round attendance of 41,193, home game in name only. Delusional to count it, but, but, since it fits your needs….truthbomber wrote: Fri Jun 03, 2022 6:47 amFred wrote: Thu Jun 02, 2022 9:06 pmPretty poor crowd on the Gold Coast tonight. Will the suns out number the titans again this year ?![]()

The actual home game, you know, those games actually played at home, is 12,143 not including last nights game.
The suns average, under the same criteria, is 10,916.

Re: Fight Club - Football Crowds
Someone stating that crowds indicate popularity refusing to accept his own theory when it doesn’t suit.
Also can’t read - where I said this theory obviously wrong as there is no way Aussie rules is as popular as Rl on the coast despite crowds being similar……
80 - 20 - dreaming though 60 40 at best maybe 65 35 at worst.
Do you ever get it right ? Seriously-

you continuously talk up the popularity wildly exaggerating its importance all over the non fumbles n bumbles world & you're the worst offender for an argument then changing it when it doesn't suit
you're a clown
