even if that was correct , the AFL only get 30.5 mill a year for all mobile content & naming rights

Foxtel 220 mill PA
lets bump that up to 230 to reflect their own view of what they're paying the AFL in 2023/24
"Not much changed from the original pre covid deal " foxtels words not mine.

Ch 7 148 mill PA

Telstra ??
lets say its 30 mill PA reflecting their new involvement in the game

thats only 408 million a year
not 473

:hmm:

8-[
i thought the AFL were getting $60mill over 5 years from Telstra

"Telstra will also spend $60m for online and mobile rights to the Australian Football League in a five-year deal starting this year"

https://leagueunlimited.com/news/nrl-se ... worth-90m/
yea , but pussy was saying he thinks gil the dill is including this & naming sponsorship money as well to get it up to that 473 mill a year claim
but even that doesn't get them there. Nowhere near it infact

they get 18 mill a year for naming rights so with the new mobile digital content deal of 12 million a year
thats 30 mill

Telstra used to put in 68.5 million PA for naming & mobile rights
the value of their deal is going backwards from 418 million a year , not forwards to 473.
It just doesn't add up :hmm:

Listen to some RL folk here is like watching Fox News commenting on Democrats and Biden. They struggle to say anything positive about AFL. I have seen Terry acknowledge AFL crowds but seems anything positive that they can’t twist or turn is then said to be fake and lies.

Looks like the fumble side can't argue against the figures posted .
So it's back to deflecting with rot about Fox & Biden .
BP has posted figures but they don't align with the fumble view so let's go off on a tangent ..

You could say that I guess but I tend to not like to categorise myself but mostly yes I guess. I believe in supporting the most vulnerable in society - looking deeper than just the surfsce as to “why” and seeking an answer there .. things like intergenerational poverty and intergenerational impact of trauma and abuse. I believe difficult social issues often have complex solutions; not simple ones. I believe in social justice and a sense of fairness. I also believe in an open mind and being open to changing opinions in response to clear evidence. I rarely believe in absolutes. I believe in forgiveness and that you get more out of life, and society, the more you are willing to put.
