See Seven are taking over Regional Prime group - and wondering what this may mean for the AFL. Given the potential benefits for advertises of having one group to go through for national coverage, the value of live sport to FTA TV, will this result in more dollars? Will it result in a more uniform national coverage - thus less dollars as AFL getting more from the deal.

Re: Seven take over Prime Group
The announcement of a Prime deal comes days after Seven announced it had renegotiated its debt. Seven now has $600 million debt facility with two local banks - ANZ and Westpac - under improved terms. Seven’s debt was previously owned by eight banks - four local, and four international.
