AFL Finals and Grand Final.
I see Tassie has two finals this week and the rest in Adelaide. I think that is fair however wondered why one of the finals in Adelaide could not be in QLD? Regardless, it is good to see the finals going across the country and Port Adelaide being rewarded for their position - the rest is the way it just has to be I guess.
The Grand Final - would love to see this in Perth. I think a roving Grand Final each year is the optimal. Yes, the MCG is iconic the world over and the home of Australian Rules but after seeing the Grand Final in Queensland last year I am a big fan of it moving around. This should be decided at the start of the year I feel and if you are good enough to get a home ground advantage then all power to you - it is not like the Victorian Teams that make don't have one when at the G with some more so than others. So Perth is a great choice I feel. I suspect the AFL wish they could get our of their contract with the MCG - who knows - they may pay it out one day as the years on it tick by - but I also think it was just extended by a year due to last's year being in Brisbane.

Re: AFL Finals and Grand Final.
I just wish I could go watch my team live in the finals. Bloody COVID and lockdowns
A grand final in Perth or Adelaide at night would be something special I must admit. Would love to one day see the AFL get out of the MCG contract for grand finals. Many years away I suspect, if ever.

all games look to be sell outs in TAS
10.5k limit for both
I cannot believe Adelaide have a limit of 20k for the Port game.

Re: AFL Finals and Grand Final.
they were not going to host it again at the GABBA again unless extreme circumstances.
Adelaide restricting attendance didn't help.
Perth was a shoe in with 60k cap

Re: AFL Finals and Grand Final.
Definitely - I think they would have held it at the Gabba if all was right - including money - but Perth was the obvious choice. But there were at least 3 choices I feel. I suspect that Adelaide would be allowing a good crowd b ytime GF came around..... but who knows nowadays.

PERTH was the right choice and right decision..
only COVID restrictions by the ****** Premier were stopping the AFL from choosing PERTH.

Interesting with discussion yesterday..
with Storm PRE LIM >> will go head to head with AFL GF
as Panthers or Parra must have a 7 day turn around for finals
