it isn't the lets all be sensible club
the reason everyone has left is because of the heavy handedness of the clown who moderates these forums
banning everyone

Yep. Wookie carry's on like a petulant 10 year old. I told him and beatup years ago if they want this site to be an AFL wankfest with no other sports allowed just do it. Call it 'Talking Fumbling' and go ya hardest!!!! But no........they continue on with the pretext this is a site for all sports.

Then when Wookie and the other AFL sooks here get smashed with facts Wookie assumes some God like authority and bans all the RL posters with a torrent of abuse attached.

You are told to air your grievances in PMs Not on the board
Well that’s not an option when the reply is
Didn’t bother reading it.

When rules are broken if it’s an AFL poster. No action .
That’s fine .
You can send multiple PMs showing where or report post as asked to .
Result ..nothing .

Agreed! If beatup wants this site to continue he needs to make a statement. How is this site going to run? Who is gonna run it? What is allowed and what isn't?

It needs a total restructure with a new balanced moderator and a clear set of rules!!!!!

The main issue for beatup is what he wants this site to be. If he wants an all sports site you can't have a ranting rabidly biased moderator.

Imagine how many posters this site would have if Wookie didn't go on mad RL banning sprees. Or carry on with some assumed superiority he simply doesn't possess.

In any case I suspect beatup will just close the joint down. Which is a pity as it has the potential to be a very good site.

When you try to log in for a month or more & the message comes up
Permantly banned for pissing the admin off
Then that’s enough to tell a poster they’re banned for good .
That’s followed up with some pathetic excuse about it was a technical prob .

If you as an admin make rules then how about enforcing them for your AFL poster mates .

Posters are asked to not reply but report or send PM .
Send PM .
Get a smart arse condescending reply off you that ignores the issue .

As a so called "fumbler" I would put forth why I don't post much as for me, what seems to come from the NRL poster mainly is diatribe. It's like a conversation at the pub and you disagree - you have a bit of a chat - you may even get a bit heated in that discussion - but after a while you move on. I can have decent conversations and debates with Leroy for instance - we can go at each other a bit - and we can often see the other's point and often disagree vehemently - but we move on eventually. That's sort of how social interactions work. It also seems that every time a point is made positive for AFL there is some new goal post being brought in - whether it is rating (we need regionals but not AFL regionals, we need estimates, we just count fox, we count streaming etc. etc). The whole thing on ratings, it is just at the point where it gets to well, guess we have to agree to disagree - and if you don't, well, for me fine, but I'm done going around in circles putting my point across- it's gone stale that is all - it is not about running away or not facing facts and figures - this has been done to death - it's stale - over - and me for one bored of it. I did put the finals ratings thread up in the hope to generate discussion hoping there would be less ambiguity with less mitigating factors - but as I was writing it was thinking that as the AFL usually win these ratings there will be some stupid reason or excuse - but posted it anyway. In all, I think may be people have grown up a bit - who cares really if AFL or NRL are the most popular, some fun with some cheap banter - but people seem to take it very seriously. It's just a game of footy - maybe Covid have meant people have some real things to worry about? Who knows?

So for me, it is more like how long can you flog a dead horse. And who cares. I think it just got old real fast.
