3,212,000 AFL Viewers vs 2,941,000 NRL Viewers last week

Post by Beaussie »

No surprises now that the total viewing audiences have been tallied up that the AFL rules supreme again last week.

AFL

Round 21 - Total - 3,212,000

NRL

Round 23 - Total - 2,941,000

Massive numbers for the AFL as we move closer towards the AFL Finals. :thumbleft:

The only numbers that count to broadcasters and the currency that determines the value of sporting rights.

say 500K to 600K

& the total for the round is

AFL 3.8 Million

NRL 4.2 Million
& thats with 1 less game on FTA then boggerball

Yeah, yeah, more assumptions. Whatever. The figures speak for themselves. The AFL remains the number sporting code in Australia when it comes to tv audiences and broadcast rights. Always has been, always will be.
