Good point Fred. No combining 2 games into 1 ratings. Be very easy to see if the AFL average more than previous Saturday nights

thats 1 v2 and 1v3 in the last 2weeks. How good it must be having the networks chose the games.
Australia's number 1 sport RUGBY LEAGUE. Preferred by more Australians than any other

Melbourne, lions and bulldogs, 3 of our smaller clubs.

Currently we have most of our mega clubs outside the 8.

well the lions are getting bigger crowds and rating far more than the storm, especially considering their population. Not to mention the storm's 25 years of dominance while the lions have been in no man's land for 2 decades. Now they are finally competitive they're up there with the broncos despite the introduction of another AFL club in the GC.

Good times for AFL in QLD :\:
they're not getting bigger
they live off expats only , the same expats who followed them 20 years ago

the derps & misses is irrelevant to most Qlders like it always has been
funny how expats following their native code are only an issue in NRL states :(/

Where are the expat NRL fans in AFL states? Maybe they drop NRL like a rock :\:
our folk aren't brainwashed bubble dwelling koolaide sipping cultists
unlike your lot who take their bubble with them lol

id say
the 92000 at the MCG & several 80000 plus crowds for origin would suggest they're there
& the 60000 in Perth too
when we get origin in adelaide with no crowd restrictions in a few years
theyll be 50000 plus there too

we can fill any stadium in the country with our sport

shame you guys can't

What makes you think afl is second to Rl. Ratings is only one measure. And as I realise, Rl rates generally better on fox but there are more followers of Rl on fox so that makes sense as limited games on fta. But also explains the afl doing better on fta. Ratings are so fraught with so many factors influencing them they really only tell at best a cloudy story. Rl rating well on fox is like an afl game rating well on an afl streaming channel... of they do.

Afl is clearly the biggest sporting body in Australia ... no one denies this... there is a reason for this.

when there are 2 prizes on offer and someone says "you'll get everything except silver" that obviously means you're getting gold.

Idiot :(/

and with more NRL fans subscribing to fox plus all NRL games in isolation the cumulative total of ratings means absolutely nothing
