yep
the cowboys have been on about 6 times too
they're as bad as the broncos

in that no one down south wants to watch either of them
like i said
the scheduling has been atrocious
What they lose in southern viewers they gain in qld viewers. That's why they do it. They've done the same for decades.

Most of our thursday and Friday games have involved Melbourne sides which have less attraction for SA and wa fans. Many have involved Collingwood Carlton hawthorn stkilda or essendon which are all in the bottom 6.

Youre excuses are lame
they do not gain dopey
even Qlders want to watch the panthers , eels & storm ahead of the poorly performing qld sides

viccy kickers will watch it if its got a singlet on & can't catch or kick straight
Complete lies. Nrl often rates under 100k in Brisbane when the Broncos aren't playing, and in the mid 100's when they are. That's why ch9 insist the Broncos are on fta most weeks.

Si.ple ratings figures prove you're wrong on both counts

This dill has beautifully expounded my exact point about his own commentary. Yep...........he adds nothing to this thread except personal opinions full of excuses!!!!! He cannot comprehend that the AFL is copping a right royal flogging in this years TV ratings so he fills the thread full of theories and BS!!!!

This thread is about actual TV ratings. Not what coulda, shoulda or woulda been!!!!!!!

Yep. The imprisoned state will definitely give 'em a boost!!! Unless they're kept under lock and key for the rest of the year it won't matter in the end!!

Those with set top boxes that usually go to games, thus not adding to ratings usually, being home and watching. This would be a massive boost to the AFL ratings for sure. Apart from this, there should be a general upswing in ratings across all programmes.

Pretty good considering the blowout score line. Will get very close to 1M when streaming comes in.

Broncos don't play every TH and FR night. Have a look at pussycats list. The AFL dominate the top 10. Clearly this shows our individual games generally rate better.

Why doesn't that happen for games on the weekend?

debunk the theory..

Storm v Souths Thursday 148k Brisbane
Parra v Storm Thursday 147k Brisbane
Panthers v Storm Thursday 135k Brisbane
Roosters v Parra Friday 127k Brisbane

this is in a year when Brisbane is a having a shocker.
Generally good match up's in brisbane over the pass few years on Channel 9 rate around 140k to 150k

Broncos Matches would generally rate over 200k with ease, and 250k for big match up's

they used to get 350K in brisvegas when they were on song 10 years ago
their fall from grace is a major reason we aren't winning the FN & TN ratings so...
