Re: Fight Club - Football TV Ratings
160K watched on thursday nite ( quoted by wookie)
150K for Friday is a reasonable guestimate , it appears like kayo consistently gets about 50% of foxtels ratings.
670K on foxtel for the 3 games last night
so around 1 million with kayo included
bringing the round total to around 3.7 million

the fumbletard states added next to nothing to those figures , so being up against the afl means nothing.Fred wrote: ↑Sat Mar 13, 2021 9:02 pmbaselinepanther wrote: ↑Sat Mar 13, 2021 11:38 am1.150 mill approx for last nights game in Brisbane

the key to winning the ratings is our own fans being happy with the state of the game & how it looks on tv. If they like it we can't be beaten because we have more potential veiwers & fans in our heartland.
the other big .. in fact , huge news for the NRL , is channel 9 after 6 years realigning with WIN TV with a new agreement signed only in the last few weeks. The impact on regional ratings for the NRL should be significant
the world order looks like it will be reestablished

Re: Fight Club - Football TV Ratings
your heartland states may have a few more people but, as ratings in Sydney and Brisbane show, the percentage of those people who consistently follow NRL is lower than what the AFL have in our states.baselinepanther wrote: ↑Sun Mar 14, 2021 11:39 amthe fumbletard states added next to nothing to those figures , so being up against the afl means nothing.Fred wrote: ↑Sat Mar 13, 2021 9:02 pmbaselinepanther wrote: ↑Sat Mar 13, 2021 11:38 am1.150 mill approx for last nights game in Brisbane

And your 'theory/feeble excuse' about regional ratings and WIN will be tested come July. But you still fail to understand that the metro ratings on 9 have also declined since NRL was last shown on WIN, so I think you'll be disappointed.

I see Win tv and C9 are set to reunite, we will see then, for the first time in 2021, just how farked up your logic is LOL.
As for viewers, you seem to forget that we have almost 1/3 more viewers on PTV,
Australia's number 1 sport RUGBY LEAGUE. Preferred by more Australians than any other

and historically almost double in the regionals , until about the last 5 years when the fumbletard heartland magically caught up .. for no apparent reasonpussycat Mark 11 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 14, 2021 1:26 pmNlolRL wrote: ↑Sun Mar 14, 2021 12:53 pmyour heartland states may have a few more people but, as ratings in Sydney and Brisbane show, the percentage of those people who consistently follow NRL is lower than what the AFL have in our states.baselinepanther wrote: ↑Sun Mar 14, 2021 11:39 am

now they're back.

Yes, more NRL fans have STV. Hardly surprising given how poorly some clubs get treated by FTA

Re: Fight Club - Football TV Ratings
It wasn't sudden dave, it was gradual and coincided with a decrease in metro ratings. Check out how NRL used to rate in Sydney nearly a decade ago. They get about half that now. Going back to WIN won't change thatbaselinepanther wrote: ↑Sun Mar 14, 2021 2:12 pmand historically almost double in the regionals , until about the last 5 years when the fumbletard heartland magically caught up .. for no apparent reasonpussycat Mark 11 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 14, 2021 1:26 pmNlolRL wrote: ↑Sun Mar 14, 2021 12:53 pm

Re: Fight Club - Football TV Ratings
not all our regionals were included in the count
nothing surer
that will hopefully correct itself with WINs far wider reach in regional NSW & QLD

Re: Fight Club - Football TV Ratings
a lot more sydneysiders are now watching their NRL on foxtel & kayo .. sick & tired of ch9 coverage
of the 2 FTA games 2.4 million veiwers this round , around half would have been in sydney
thats approx 600K a game
not a huge difference to 10 years ago , the interest is still there.
