Re: WOMENS AFL & NRL
Womens AFL have moved to charging fans for the upcoming season.
Which i think is a good move after a few years of building
The season is set to kick off on January 28!
The AFLW will charge for ticket admission to games in its nine-round 2021 season. The league confirmed on Thursday that it would scrap the conference system, introduce a single ladder and charge $10 for entry to matches

Bit hard to do,14 teams and only 9 rounds.
There are lies, damn lies and then there are ratings.
Rugby league, Australias most popular game in some of North Eastern Australia.

Re: WOMENS AFL & NRL
I'm not too sure about that Freddo. With covid provisions in place it's probably futile to judge crowds. I see they got 50k on Fox TV. Do you know what they got on FTA pal? It appears it didn't make the top 20 programs of the night despite being on the main channel in Melbourne.

Re: WOMENS AFL & NRL
Correct Frederico, but under Covid restriction's my friend. So it's kind of pointless judging crowds at this point of time.

Re: WOMENS AFL & NRL
Not often I agree with terry but counting crowd numbers whilst they are capped is not an indicator of popularity. Let’s hope the limits are off soon.
