Re: Now For Something Completely Different!
Not your words but if the costs were “crippling” the competition would be crippled and not continuing.
The AFL has already stated that they have similar contingency plans for next season if required.
It is a massive expense that could not have been expected, but far less expensive that not having a competition at all.

There are lies, damn lies and then there are ratings.

Re: Now For Something Completely Different!
The NRL has had to pay for the Melbourne Storm Who have set up in a Resort in Sunshine Coast
and the NZ Warriors on the central coast.
I think i read something it was costing the NRL a 200-300k for this.

well yeah be around the figure which has been stated.Fred wrote: Sat Sep 19, 2020 1:23 pmIf that’s one club imagine doing it for how many AFL clubs in qld.
AFL club lists are also higher.
not sure how much it is costing the NRL for the warriors to based in NSW
AFL as of last round was sitting at in excess of 60million.
with 1 round to go plus bye round and finals.
This could be massive by the time Grand Final hits.
