Thanks for your oh so objective opinions beatup. lol 300 million was always a fucking pipedream
Unlike AFL house were not quiet stupid enough to make predictions like that. The media made those comments. And I think It was always meant to be a potential or possible cum audience. Not average . Though Australians will have averaged near 5m viewers by tomorrow, there would have to be 30m or so who have viewed some piece of the game in Australia alone for some period or another. So when you take into account the UK, US, Africa, Canada, NZ , Pacific etc. They wouldn't be that far out.
Pipedream as Wookie has already pointed out.
Now back in the world of reality: as pointed out no one from the NRL made any comment or prediction about O.S. tv ratings. Unlike fumble administrators who gave un-sourced, un-proven numbers from China. The difference being fumble fans pat each other on the back and nod in unison whilst RL fans are intelligent enough to know it is simply predictions, possible reach & most importantly a beatup. Something you should know all about pal!!
As an aside I do note that the NRL and the pommy players in particular were rating top 5 twitter mentions in the UK over the week-end. That's what ya call a fact beatup. You might want to look up that word up in the dictionary and add it to your very narrow repertoire of posting pal!!
