Wookie seems to be feeling the heat, pointing out that doesn't mean 300m will be watching. These AFL cult members seem more than a bit cut

"One in every 24 Australians is now a member of an AFL club, a sign that the national reach of Australian football has never been greater," League CEO Gillon McLachlan said.

PVL is dictating to a sport that could barely tie its own shoe laces together while running it out of Racing NSW's HQ. Its fucking laughable. Once the Storm decided to move to Albury, and the Warriors to Tamworth, all he needed was the QLD gov and he was gold.
Mclachlan had to move 2 teams from SA, 2 teams from WA, get the same exemptions from Queensland, and get the Victorian Government to agree

Geez are you for real .you discount the warriors & Storm move
Lol he still had to deal with the GOVTs
He had to deal with as many GOVTS as the AFL .....5
Qld
NSW
VIC
ACT
NZ.
The jealousy of the fumblecrowd at what he has achieved in getting rL back up & running is great reading .

Kinda showing your bias here Wookster. Making your comments irrelevant!!!!! Re: 300 Million people world wide to watch Rugby League re-start!!!!
yes i discount it. The decision to move the Warriors was fairly straight forward, and the Storm moved to Albury with litle fuss. Queensland was the only issue and they got an exemption. WA and SA havent granted them, the Vic Governments restrictions are fucking tight as hell, and they still needed to get the same QLD exemptions applied, along with a far more militant players association. Yes i fucking discount it,
Not as much fun as it is reading people tell us how jealous we supposedly are when your fucking league starts before ours every year. lol.

Alot of the detail behind the scenes
In both codes would of been massive..
Be interesting what figures were in some countries
SKY SPORTS IN UK
FOX 1 IN USA 90million subscribers
Not expecting big numbers but interesting to see what numbers for games Played in early hours
NRL was trending number 4 in UK
