Rugby League doesn't have culture of members or even live crowds. Souths are easily most supported nrl club in Sydney.

Funny how AFL calls itself Australia's indigenous game, yet it has the highest number of white players and it does not have a team that is known to be supported by Aboriginals in large numbers.

There is no team like Rabbitohs in the AFL. I am sure Adam Goodes would never have gone through what he did if he had been a league player. He would have been very welcome in a team like Souths.

Great point. Not only is there no club like Souths, its AFL equivalent Collingwood is renown for its negativity towards Indigenous players. Club president Eddie racially abused Goodes live on radio, first Indigenous player wasn't until the 90's & most recently a black player quit club citing discrimination.
