Um, yeah nah.

Thanks for your opinion Terry but I’ll stick to the facts as pointed out by a tv executive in the know.

“The AFL is Australia’s number one winter sport...”

:thumbleft:
League had most viewers & games with largest audiences. Afl figure must include social media or trending or auskick numbers...
Try loosening the strap a bit in that tin foil had dude!

Seeing you like wanking off over figures, why is it nearly every occasion head to head in similar time spots the afl slaughters the nrlol?
Keep adding goalposts. NRL had more total viewers for year even before internationals & SOO factored in. So doesn't matter you game is seen as a joke overseas - still would've lost

Afl has spent millions for small niche in Sydney - if Rugby has resources to fight back game could be over.
And it’s growing in Sydney! The swans are by far the largest team and the support for the GWS is growing!

If rugby had some dollars they could put it back in to grass roots and score some of those fans and players that the less skilled version of rugby, aka league pinched off union
FTA ratings for swans in Sydney about 50,000 viewers. NRL average game does 200k, not mentioning foxtel where audiences can even be bigger for same game. Giants averaged 32,000 boasted by finals appearance. Netball averaged 29,000 - wanna change your comments?

NRL Nines ratings be interesting this week..
Friday Games start 6pm and finish around 10:30pm Syd time
Saturday starts at 12Pm and finishes at 10pm syd time.

Most teams have 2nd string squads..
which i actually like, letting them have a look in..

FTA ratings for Swans matches averaged 53,000 and as high as 85,000. Not including Foxtel.
Giants averaged of 32,000 didnt include finals. Finals is almost never included in my season data.
What are you doing back? I thought you were done for good?
Wow, as high as 85,000! Less than half average for NRL.

In Sydney...the NRL would want to be doing that. Or do you want the comparable FTA figures for the Storm in Melbourne v the AFL? or NRL anywhere else in Australia outside of Qld/NSW v the AFL?
I don't care about that. Afl support not great in Sydney despite what supporters say - average game does almost exactly same as netball.
You going to explain your John Farnham return from retirement?

So matches averaged 53k and some were as high as 85k. Meaning some were also way under 53k. And how many exactly got to 85k?

You guys copy my data all the time, why dont you go and fucking find out for yourself
Pal, you were the one who for some reason stated the Swans averaged 53k after it was suggested it 'was around 50k' (Pretty much on the money). You then offered that some rated as high as 85k. I suspect it was one game only. If you don't want to converse why did you start??

Because Im the fucking source for these figures including the Giants one that was dead on. No one else has put the figures out there unless Roy has...and he would be quoting me anyway.

Check out the Swans tv ratings back in 1996 In the article below. Even the NRL struggles to average those kind of numbers these days in Sydney.

From memory highest rating for swans happened going heah to head with women's origin which got almost triple the viewers in Sydney - also women's game goes only 60 minutes so was quite the smashing

I get my information from tvtonight.com & other sources. I don't look at your stuff as you have a bias for the isolationist game

Second largest football tv audience in Sydney/NSW behind NRL. Hardly what I would describe as crap.
