I can't find any other sport that they've cut sponsorship from due to the excuse they trotted out for dumping fumbles .
They're a big world wide company who sponsor plenty of sport teams & individual athletes .
Can't find any of them that have been dumped ..except fumbles

Why is the AFL(as far as I can find) the only sport to be cut
They are a big worldwide company who sponsor numerous sports & athletes .
Yet cutback time it's only the Aflol .
Lol sounds like corporate speak for we don't want to associated with a racist sport with a rather large crowd violence issue .

Wouldn't cut backs be across the board or at least a few sports .

It didn’t really make big news here so maybe it’s not a major news item if they cut elsewhere in the world ... maybe if it was just AFL they were looking for a more global product give fiscal pressures. More bang for buck ?

I suspect the meeting at Gatorade head office went something like this

But they have a constant stream of racism issues
& crowd violence .
The crowd violence extends to punching women .

Well that is indeed a fair point - does make you wonder then. Maybe the AFL charge a lot more - not sure - and that is the cost benefit thing - but yes - good point.

It was cut back decisions from hq in America! And who knows the full extent across the board!

It’s not like they are having sponsors ripping up contracts like leave or struggling for sponsorship! As the AFL dwarfs the nrlol in this area!
