Looks like Victorian premier Daniel Andrews and Melbourne Lord Mayor Sally Capp think the UFC is some kind of snowflake sport like the AFL where cheerleaders and promo girls are banned.

The good news is they have been told to get fuct basically, although UFC president Dana white was a bit more polite in his actual response.

The Octagon girls will be there with all calls by Victorians being ignored. Good to see Americans are a bit more like people from Northern States.
