Re: Golden Try
i like the golden TRY
but than it is only an extra 10mins
5 mins each way..
Would still most likely end in a draw,
i guess after this you could go in the Golden Point..
but than we are talking up to an extra 20mins..

What i hate about Golden Point>
is it becomes a shoot out..
and field goals under pressure from 40 meters out becomes sometimes a lottery.

Re: Golden Try
Agreed, the penalty shoot out in dribbleball is another thing that determines the winner on an outcome that is not what the game is about.leeroy*NRL* wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2019 12:14 pmWhat i hate about Golden Point>

Although I understand the logistics of the AFL not to have drawn finals anymore, I used to love them and couldn’t wait for the replay to see how the teams would change their strategy, alas no more.
But deciding a game on a shootout must be disappointing for fans,
There are lies, damn lies and then there are ratings.
Rugby league, Australias most popular game in some of North Eastern Australia.

Re: Golden Try
yeah at times it can be a lucky win, i would perfer golden Try and if no one can score in Overtime.Quolls2019 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 01, 2019 10:13 pmAgreed, the penalty shoot out in dribbleball is another thing that determines the winner on an outcome that is not what the game is about.leeroy*NRL* wrote: ↑Wed Aug 07, 2019 12:14 pmWhat i hate about Golden Point>

it therefore becomes a Draw.
regards to Overtime in Finals i love it,
But not how the Cowboys v Bronxs game finished..
this should of been 10mins each half and winner decided at end of 2nd overtime.
not Golden Point in a Grand Final..
(regards to replay final) i am yes and no..
if we look at the recent world cup cricket final..
ENGLAND v NZ>
this should of been a Draw and replay of FINAL>
how it was decided was ludicrous
