For those playing at home. (I know Terry is)
After crunching some scenarios....
The NRlilL need their last two rounds to rate around 5.25mil to snag the title as most watched national competition in Australia.
And that is on the premise their finals rate equally.

Your getting your rating figures from Wookie right? well we were about 8m behind with three rounds to play. So as it appears we will even win the home & away season rounds, counting ratings from just 7.5 teams Wow and not counting major interference from the rep scene WOW. Gold, Gold, Gold , Gold, Gold. Gold
800k wiped off the slate so far this round to. Wow!
Rugby League, the dominant force in Australian sport!

The figures that should send shockwaves through the NRL
These are the figures that should send shockwaves through the NRL.
And it could hurt them in the long run where it matters: in the back pocket when it comes time to negotiate a new TV deal.
People are turning off the game, abandoning rugby league in droves, in the past month in particular. Free-to-air and pay TV NRL audiences have dropped by more than 3 million compared with the same time last year.
But the drop-off has been nothing short of alarming in the past month, during which a series of contentious decisions by referees, the match review committee and the judiciary have driven fans away from the game. Audiences dropped significantly in rounds 18, 19 and 20 and by a further 3 per cent last weekend even though there were two blockbuster games featuring the top four teams.
Nine set to dump Thursday night football in next TV deal

Our column last week highlighting the dramatic decline in NRL TV ratings caused an enormous stir in the game. And we are now hearing there could be repercussions for the next broadcast deal.
The game’s free-to-air broadcaster, Channel Nine, may try to get two exclusive games as part of the next deal and sacrifice the Thursday night game. It will be interesting to see if Fox Sports believes that six exclusive games will be enough to drive subscriptions.

There are lies, damn lies and then there are ratings.

Sponsors tearing up contracts and fleeing
Ratings down
Crowds down including inflated crowds due to new venues and including the exaggerated figures
The ceo admitting the code has an off field culture issue
Can’t get a bank loan
And all is fine in the eyes of the league looney and the afl has issues

Yep
Excatly
Talking down the sport they have to pay for.
Lol now why would they be talking doom & gloom about RL .
Could it be they are trying to drive the price down so they get it cheaper .
Wow that's a tactic that's never been used before .

How many threads are you going to rant about sponsors
.
As asked before please show these inflated figures .
You can't seem to post any proof.
Why are you talking bank loans .
You got destroyed in that argument last time .
Te ARLC has not applied for a bank loan this year or last year .
In fact they made 48 mill profit .
So stop with the crap.
Don't you just hate when your rants get destroyed by facts .
