Re: Titans V Thuns
That’s simply not true AFLcrap. I have posted previously articles about this re titans crowds. There are several titans games where the crowd are seen as favouring the opposition. A league town indeed but many already have an nrl team. You’ll also find that a lot of people support both teams as well.

The crowd of 18,753 that watched the Warriors win a thrilling encounter 24-16 in Round 11 last season was dominated by Kiwi ex-pats and was the third-biggest crowd of the season on the Gold Coast.

As always seems to be the case, the Titans were outnumbered by away fans at their home ground. The Dogs faithful were in full voice early as Rona picked up a loose ball to scurry over after just four minutes.

Gold Coast residents bask in the sun of the eastern stand dressed in the colours of the visiting team and more often than not head home to Burleigh, Miami or Palmy happy their local side has lost.

Re: Titans V Thuns
Wow, seems the Titans have very little local support with their crowds made up of mostly opposition fans. See their horrendous membership numbers too? Eek.
How many Rugby League teams have failed on the Gold Coast already? 3.. or is it 4?

"One in every 24 Australians is now a member of an AFL club, a sign that the national reach of Australian football has never been greater," League CEO Gillon McLachlan said.

Re: Titans vs Suns
I think the reference is that claims are made without support, such as crowd numbers, and in this instance, that Titans crowds are mainly titans fans... which has been shown not to be the case. So the theme is about unsubstantiated claims. Is that right brook?

Re: Titans vs Suns
Your ignoring what I compared it to against
Your imagination and the support % of each team at the game
It’s the same as your imagination and extended crowd figures

Re: Titans vs Suns
Titans are getting St Helens Coach next year so I think they will have a much better season next year.
Justin Holbrook is said to be the best coach in the Superleague. So will be interesting to see how he goes with a NRL club.

Re: Titans vs Suns
Well let’s hope so. I think this is their last chance. However there are bigger issues than just winning... although that helps ... helps a lot. But they need a team to be viable when doing poorly... through thick and thin. That is one positive out of a heap of negatives the suns could look to ... they have a solid 10 to 13 thousand support base that has stuck through with them. If they start winning .....

The suns have been a basket case since their inception and never played finals as yet and still have better support than the titans
So what’s giving to happen when they get their shit together

Lol
Will be hilarious to see what crowd figure they post at the THUNS game .
The place is more sparely populated(fans) than VI's brain cavity ( brain cells)
My guess is about 2500 at most .
I'm sure they'll post about 3-4 times that .
