The Storm game wasn't golden point. Warriors v Bronco's was and the article says there were 457k watching during extra time.

Final Round 17 ratings - something for everyone.

AFL 3.627m @ 403,000 per match
NRL 3.021m @ 378,000 per match

AFL YTD - Season Only - 69.17m @ 480,000 per match (144 games)
NRL YTD - Season Only - 60.19m @ 470,000 per match (128 games)
NRL TYD - Season+Rep - 70.83m @ 521,000 per match (136 games)

Average AFL lead for a full 9 match round over a full 8 match round of NRL - 402,000 per round.

AFL YTD - Full 2019 Yr - 75.39m @ 375,000 per match (201 games)
NRL YTD - Full 2019 Yr - 71.53m @ 515,000 per match (139 games)

Canterbury Cup YTD - 496,000 @ 29,000 per match (17 games)
IntrustSupr Cup YTD - 286,000 @ 18,000 per match (16 games)

SANFL YTD - 388,000 @ 26,000 per match (15 games)
WAFL YTD - 306,000 @ 31,000 per match (10 games)
VFL YTD - 595,000 @ 40,000 per match (15 games)
Sure is. More for some i see.

Anyway,

Volume of content.
I am in utter dismay at how little content there is of the "good 'ol girl RL" compared to Aussie Rules.
44% more games YTD.
And then if you consider the broadcast of each game goes 50% longer.
That's 116% more hours of content YTD.

Just another example of the "worlds least popular sport" out gunning RL again.

Gotta say SC very impressive, and extra FTA games still to come on top of 2 extra rounds.

The good ol girl Rugby League season: 70.8m at an average of 521k

The not so good AFL Season : 69.2m at 480k

Wow  A show is a show. And that all taken into consideration.

Who ever compared AFL to sucking diarrhoea through a sweaty sock was pretty right

Our AFL season is more than just the home and away season thanks.

And AFL folks may have less on average but they watch for 47% longer.
Well it would be pretty hard not to Wookster seeing as how the mess goes for 47% longer. A meaningless stat unless you're looking at broadcast value which would mean RL gets much bigger bang for bucks than your game.

Take in advertising markets where codes are more popular
Throw in the international and soo something that is around 20%of the overall broadcast deal
Take that gimmick away and your little nrlol would be worth less!

If only the pissing contest between Murdoch and packer didn’t exist :)))

"Bang for bucks" not how i'd phrase it.......

Less than half the content of Aussie rules YTD.

No wonder you leaguers have so much time to try and pick holes in Aussie rules.

I'll be sure to add the measure to the stacked bar graph i'm working on for the end of the season.

Less than half the content of the "world least popular sport" YTD.
Less than half the crowds "world least popular sport".
Less than half the members "world least popular sport".
Less than half the players "world least popular sport".
etc. etc. etc...

Rugby league, half the sport of the "world least popular sport"

PUSS !!! FFS !!!

What part of "STAY OUT OF THIS" did you misunderstand?

Keep your juvenile schoolyard insults to petty discussions.

This is an adult discussion...

I'm expecting a mature, witty, well measured, factual although slightly barbed retort from Terry in response to me smashing him from pillar to post with facts at any moment.

I'm convinced there's fight left in this old dog yet....

Unlike ol' mate cumulative, left him in the trench to bleed out......
