league would have benefited in having use of the new or up graded venues post the sokka world cup
most of the league crowd easily fit in some crap shack of a club ground magic 10k sized crowd & season hardly effected
the sokka world cup would have used the mcg and etihad so where will 7 or 8 of the melbourne based teams play. no other stadium in Australia would be big enough to house their games, same goes for Swans and the Perth and Adelaide teams

Australia benefits. Another instance of AngloFL holding country back.notaleaguefan wrote: ↑Sun Jun 30, 2019 4:38 pmso the stadiums, Etihad, MCG, SCG, Adelaide oval, Perth stadium the main stadiums the AFL play in would have been tied up preventing the afl to run its league, causing the loss of hundred of millions in revenue and breaking contractsAngloFootballLeague wrote: ↑Sun Jun 23, 2019 1:36 pmFred wrote: ↑Sat Jun 22, 2019 4:21 pm
In this country AFL is bigger than Soccer. Hence why fifa wanted the afl grounds. FIFA also demand no other sport is played at the time of the World Cup.
So a people who know nothing of the game had no idea what was going on ? I’m amazed . I have also spoken to many who loved it. Just depends I guess.Paranoid take you have. Stadiums must have capacity of 40,000 - no rectangular grounds in southern capitals meet this. Another instance of AngloFL holding country back.notaleaguefan wrote: ↑Sun Jun 23, 2019 1:46 am
the sokka world cup is like the SOO every one becomes a fan then the bulk of the fans forget about the code ater the event is over!
its funny how the fifa wanted afl grounds, ovals even though it doesnt fit the required criteria in the fifa world cup hand book
the afl has every right to play its competition where and when it wants with out having to bow down to a sokka tournament. as the afl wouldnt have had to have stopped its comptition whilst the sokka circus wc was on, were they going to be compensated for loss of income and breaking of signed contracts?
the only reason why the nrlol, wanted the wc as it would have meant an up graded of venues, if they were in the afls situation were they were going to receive jack shit out of the deal they would have done the same
so what was the afl going to gain out of this with the loss of all that

AngloFL is a provincial pastime which has failed at international expansion & stands in the way of Country gaining large international events which bring financial benefit.notaleaguefan wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2019 12:57 pmno afl and country still growing and living onAngloFootballLeague wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2019 11:47 amAustralia benefits. Australia may benefit but that is not the afls business ... or concern ... they are a business and if there is nothing in it for them or in fact, it is detrimental ... I can’t see why they would do it!AngloFootballLeague wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2019 11:47 amAustralia benefits. Re: As the State of Origin show rolls into WA, one thing stands in the way of an NRL team in Perth
If it is such a disruption to the afl they have no obligation. They worked in with the olympics to schedule games earlier or later and that worked well. But where it disrupts a game so much ... and is a direct competitor why should they suffer. For a provincial sport it certainly wields a lot of power. The mouse that roared maybe. Even soccer could not bend its will.AngloFootballLeague wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2019 1:54 pmAngloFL is a provincial pastime which has failed at international expansion & stands in the way of Country gaining large international events which bring financial benefit.notaleaguefan wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2019 12:57 pmno afl and country still growing and living onAngloFootballLeague wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2019 11:47 am

The Sokka World Cup like the Olympics usually don’t bring much benefit to the city’s billions out laid for little return
And dead venues that become ghosts venues

Using special Olympics as putdown is wrong. Of course AngloFL fans attack people with disabilities in the stands. So there is form.notaleaguefan wrote: ↑Sun Jul 07, 2019 8:16 amAs the majority want it? yes then!AngloFootballLeague wrote: ↑Sun Jul 07, 2019 7:17 amAngloFL Australia's answer to brexit.notaleaguefan wrote: ↑Sat Jul 06, 2019 5:20 pm
