You dont think fox would pay the AFL more if they had more exclusive games?
they paid overs as it is..

NRL is winning the battle since the deals were signed >> proving FOX paid overs..

(yes they would, but the deals and tv structure is alot different than the NRL>
Go the long with the conspiracies!

You think a billionaire with the largest media organisation in the world would employ the best people in the business to negotiate a tv contract with billions with falling tv revenue wouldn’t know what they were doing!

The tin foil hat wrestling league loon mashing away in the parents basement is going to know better!

Yep c7 & fox payed hundreds of millions over just because they felt charitable! :-k

Proof you have zero concept of money and the real world Leroy

The only problem with that is the sporting arm of there business is having to get loan after loan just to stay afloat.

What a stupid post .
RL was popular long before the SL war
Uncle Rupert wanted a flagship sport to drive subscriptions .
He went for RL .....I'll let your little brain work out why .

You have no idea at all about anything .
Just repeat the same shit over & over .

Wow........32k on Fox for GWS v Suns. Is that the lowest ever AFL game on Fox?? The good thing about ratings is they're not fudged like the laughable crowd figures. It's actually getting worse for the western fumblers.

As stated by SMH AFL reporter Vince Rugari, "The AFL must be concerned that the supposedrapid growth of the game in NSW is not being borne out in the stands". He could also add in the Sydney TV ratings. It appears Dr Lawson was right. The AFL basically tell lies to try and sell the game. Unfortunately for them people in the educated northern states aren't bubble dwelling idiots!!!

What a ridiculous thing to suggest when looking at all the AFL TV ratings yesterday (highest rating game bigger than the only game in NRL) and putting into context the hiding one AFL expansion club gave another.

SEVEN’S AFL: SATURDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL Channel 7 518,000 52,000 228,000 36,000 145,000 58,000
https://tvtonight.com.au/2019/06/saturd ... -2019.html

Meanwhile in the NRL

"One in every 24 Australians is now a member of an AFL club, a sign that the national reach of Australian football has never been greater," League CEO Gillon McLachlan said.

Hilarious these flogs ignore the beating they cop week in week out to point at the two smallest newest expansion clubs.

They do the same for crowds, ignore the average of 36k to point at the giants crowds

There is only one , the battle for Australia major sporting code! All the others are just related to it or carry over from it.

We don't ignore crowds. Were actually trying to do something about it. But in the mean time we will just have to make do with being the most popular and most watched sport in Australia.

Not this year - at least up to this point - and Origin wont put you in front.

Oh and the minute Origin goes on the tables so does all the preseason, aflw and state tv stuff. After all its not about "leagues" then, its about most watched sports. And for once I have all the actual data.

Hmmmm.....you've gone all partisan have ya Wookster. You used to list AFL pre-season, AFLW, AFLX, AFL season, NRL season, SOO, RL internationals + NZ RL numbers. Then basically let the punters decide what they want to use....you know......like the 'ol strike in/strike out theory. You even used to announce who 'won' the ratings for the year.

Are you now threatening to manufacture a win to AFL no matter what? I think you are better when you show some objectivity.
