By the way hadle is spelt handle. I know the education system is not too flash with AFL fans.
This is why you get a point for missing and hitting the post in AFL, a stupid game for stupid people.
AFL even awards a point if you hit the post

In Basketball you get 2 points for placing the ball in a hole. In RL you get 4 points for falling over. In Gridiron you get points for walking into an area. In cricket you can score without even hitting the ball.NRL&NFLweLaughATafl wrote: ↑Sat Apr 06, 2019 7:54 pmI like when my team scores a try or goal.SportCapital wrote: ↑Sat Apr 06, 2019 10:18 amSo tell me, do you thoroughly enjoy when your team scores a try?NRL&NFLweLaughATafl wrote: ↑Sat Mar 30, 2019 8:32 am
No I am saying cricket is not a football code. So your comparing AFL scoring to a game where you hit the ball with a bat to get points constantly.
Sounds pretty stupid hey. So now tell me. Name me another football code where teams score over a 100 points during a game?
You AFL fans should try watching a team like Manchester City. All the goals are scored with skill.
AFL rewards 1 point for a miss or hitting the post. Soccer rewards 1 point with a goal keeper and a crossbar. You see the difference in skills??
AFL goals are like riding a bike with training wheels. Simply made, and as easy as possible.
The method or ease of scoring isnt the point, doing it more often than your opponent is. It's a very easy concept to grasp yet you really seem to struggle with it

Re: AFL even awards a point if you hit the post
which is the advantage of a higher scoring game. You get to enjoy your team scoring more often.
How fun it must be to watch your team play RL and only score once or twice in 80 minutes. No wonder the crowds are so poor

Re: AFL even awards a point if you hit the post
Going by that logic why does soccer have the biggest fanbase in the world??
AFL is a game that makes no sense and is all about stupidity. This is why other countries like Rugby League and Soccer but never get into AFL.

Re: AFL even awards a point if you hit the post
You really are an idiot.
Top of the tree in here which is actually quite the task.
A goal in soccer is more meaningful than a try in RL, there are also a lot more attempts on goal in soccer.
AFL is high scoring, soccer is low scoring.
Rugby is in some dour and dull no-mans land inbetween.
"This is why other countries like Rugby League and soccer"
Don't try to ride off the coat tails of soccer aswell. Soccer is massive everwhere around the world and even contains our most prestigious national team, despite being code no.3.
Why does the country not give 2 shits about the National side of our "most popular sport"?
So, why does nobody care about the Kangaroos?
Because it's an irrelevant code on an international scale and not even the top Rugby. Don't be so proud of yourself, you're really clinging here.
"But da afL carnt evEn geT a team outSide of Straya"
You're a clever little lad. Good spot!!
Your strange little version of rugby also can't get a team west of Melbourne. Worry about your own backyard first.

You can't sell a lemon overseas unfortunately and that is exactly what the Chinese see AFL as.
Mean while we have a new team in new country that follows Rugby League. Toronto Wolfpack in Canada.
The ratings were pretty good for the rlwc. And they have sold out test matches for the Kangaroos vs Kiwis matches in AFL areas like Perth.
As for soccer I like the sport. I follow Manchester City. You see Football is a sport which does not reward stupidity like AFL.
In real football you don't get a point for a miss or for hitting the post like in AFL.
It also has a goal keeper and a crossbar.
AFL is just plain stupid. You guys reward more points for an easy goal than a field goal in Rugby League. Which really puts things into perspective.
Australian Fools League has a ring to it

Important enough for AFL to try to grow their game there and fail miserably compared to Rugby League.
