the NRL has 1 team outside NSW and QLD. No one in their right mind would call that national expansion. Of course that doesn't apply to you

I'm not even saying the AFL is fully national, however it is more national than the NRL.

My point to NRL&NFL is expansion into new markets is extremely difficult, hence the reason RL hasnt expanded across this country despite it's popularity in Australia's biggest city and state. There are far more factors involved than just the quality of the sport
