EXPANISON IN SPORT
Hi Guys>>
I am trying to combine threads and have comments directed to particular threads
instead of multiple threads all over the place..
Exapnsion In sports Please do this thread>> so we do not have 10 threads about 2 news items>>>
i tend to do this to multiple threads over a course of time>>
i think it creates an easier place to post a news piece, instead creating a new thread
every single time..
thanks

THE TEAM IN NRL’S SIGHTS TO TAKE ON BRONCOS
The shock frontrunner to become Brisbane’s second team to rival the Broncos has been revealed, as the ARL Commission is keen to establish an NRL foothold in the area.

Has always been mentioned when second team is talked about .
Rich club with a long history & good support in Brissy
The ground would need an upgrade that's about all .

Re: EXPANISON IN SPORT
Looks as though the expansion this year is going to be between Toulouse Olympique XIII and Toronto Wolfpack.
Either would be pretty cool, both would be exceptional.

Re: EXPANISON IN SPORT
are the English Super League looking at expanding from 12 teams ?
I for one think 12 teams is too low & should go back to the original format of 14.

Re: EXPANISON IN SPORT
I have read rumours that they may indeed be headed to 14 but regardless of that, they still have promotion and relegation and at the moment both those clubs are way out in front. Although as we seen last year with London, you only really need to play one really good game but that's out the window this year, it's the top of the table team that gets promoted.

Re: EXPANISON IN SPORT
oh ok.. would be good if they do..
i dislike that you can finish 1st in the championship and have to play in the million pound game for promotion.
i am pretty sure this is how it works..
I think 14 teams with Toronto and Toulouse would be great for the game

Re: EXPANISON IN SPORT
Yeah the million pound game has been scrapped I 99% sure. First past the post as it always should have been and what it always was before that gimmicky garbage.
