NRL homepage Rugby League is Australia’s most entertaining and popular sport.

Rugby League telecasts have grown to be the most watched programs on Australian television.

The NRL Telstra Premiership is the closest elite sporting competition in the country and the Holden State of Origin series between New South Wales and Queensland is Australian sport’s greatest rivalry.

in case you missed it,
Rugby League is Australia's most popular sport
Rugby League is Australia's most popular sport
Rugby League is Australia's most popular sport
Rugby League is Australia's most popular sport
Rugby League is Australia's most popular sport
Rugby League is Australia's most popular sport
Rugby League is Australia's most popular sport
Rugby League is Australia's most popular sport
do you honestly think they would say "AFL is Australia's most popular sport" on the NRL's website?

What about hungry jack's claim "the burgers are better at hungry jacks"? Is that the truth too? :-k

Yep AFL fan thinking .
We don't have it so it's not counted .

One trick pony is all they have .
We have a multi layered sport .......an alien concept for the brainwashed bubble dwellers ..
Rubbish!
It counts, just not with the NRL.
They are two seperate competitions.
So just to clarify
Last week.
AFL got 4.2m
NRL got 2.8m
And Soo also got 2.8m
It seems one comp is a bit more popular!
Lol
But but but
One trick pony comp v a multi layered comp

RL wins again

It's a bit suprising that Soo isn't more popular.
There's only two teams with an entire state behind each.

Can anyone tell me the Qld and NSW ratings for each comp from the weekend?

Lol can't be more popular than the biggest tv sporting event year after year ( we let the Aflol win one every now & then) .
You can't climb higher than NO 1

1 unco point for a swing & a miss

Could of been better.

After last Friday nights Sub 700k effort from the AFL i'm surprised you would bring that up.

last vs 2nd last>>
Thursday Night>>

before Thursday Night Football was introduced into NRL

these two teams would always play on Friday night to 30k plus Crowds..

Thank You NRL for killing it once again.

The NRL don't need excuses. But just to keep you informed it was Last v's the side that has finished last for the past 3 years.

AFL : Metro(424) + Regional(138) + Fox (163) = 725k :(/ :(/ :(/ :(/ Better than last Friday night :(/ :(/ :(/ :(/ .

another appaling fixture for the AFL, yet again it beat the NRL in metros. Wow, the 15 mil who live in the 5 main cities really dont like the NRL, even when the Broncos are playing against a team from Sydney. 181k in Sydney! Wow, that is disgraceful!

But, But, But. Your so predictable :(/ :(/ :(/ :(/

Two Melbourne sides and yoju only get 250k
Smashed by the NRL in regional and on PTV.

Most Metro viewers are only metro viewers who don't subscribe to PTV . So in all likelihood you lost out there as well

Only down 10%   yeah right   on what planet?
